"Today we will begin the most important part of your costumes!" Edna announced as she wheeled in a hanging rack full of spandex body suits. Oh, you lucky people, you. (Don't ask how that last one snuck in there. It had been a Very Terrible Costume Concept.) "Measurements!"

She ignored any horrified looks or attempts to hide under tables. "Ms. Davis, my assistant," she nodded at Brooke, "and I will be measuring you so that the costumes you create for yourselves will fit! While you are waiting, come up with two preliminary concepts for your ensemble--include your logo from last week on one of them--and then ask a fellow student to critique!"

She made shooing motions. "Go! Scatter! Create!" She pointed at one student at random. "Except you. You get to wear Spandex first, darling."

Oh, sure, go and make him feel bad.

"So see Katina," Arthur muttered, trying to ignore his conscience. Again. Why had he let Merlin talk him into getting one of those to begin with? "Before she drinks all of my rum."

He had a feeling he wouldn't actually enjoy making Francine storm off. Well, bugger.

Why hello irrational surge of jealousy. "I will. I was going to yesterday." But somebody was already there. Apparently drinking rum with Katchoo, and there was no available English to describe the amount WTF in that.

"...Right." Totally not weird now. "Good." She was not going to say it, she was not going to say it, she was not going to say it. "I-- thanks." Yeah, that worked. "I've gotta..." She unwrapped one arm enough to wave her fingers towards the crazy people with measuring tape. "Yeah. Okay. Yeah."

Astute observers might have noticed that she'd already been measured, but if they had any sense of self-preservation, they'd let her go without challenging her on that one.

Arthur offered her the kind of gracious nod that spelled you're dismissed, go play with your friends in as benevolent a way as he could manage. It was that he was this determined not to be weird or to let the world slip back into the chaos it was clearly in without him, or he would have looked very confused doing it.

This? Was roughly where, in a sitcom, there would be a cut to the scene where he told Morgana it had seemed like a good idea at the time.
