"Today we will begin the most important part of your costumes!" Edna announced as she wheeled in a hanging rack full of spandex body suits. Oh, you lucky people, you. (Don't ask how that last one snuck in there. It had been a Very Terrible Costume Concept.) "Measurements!"

She ignored any horrified looks or attempts to hide under tables. "Ms. Davis, my assistant," she nodded at Brooke, "and I will be measuring you so that the costumes you create for yourselves will fit! While you are waiting, come up with two preliminary concepts for your ensemble--include your logo from last week on one of them--and then ask a fellow student to critique!"

She made shooing motions. "Go! Scatter! Create!" She pointed at one student at random. "Except you. You get to wear Spandex first, darling."

Brooke looked a little... hm, what's a good adjective for 'omgwtf'? about the clothing choices, and if anyone asked, she'd be happy to assure them that she did not condone this. At all.

"Lady Brooke," Arthur greeted, at a particularly discrete moment. "Is it just me, or is she..."

He trailed off.

"I had nothing to do with spandex being used in this manner and I don't condone its use outside exercise wear and the occasional really stretchy top for a night out," she said immediately.

There was a slight pause as Arthur processed all of that. "That's... good," he finally decided, shooting Edna a look that went beyond difficult. "She's not actually serious," he said, firmly.

"...Is she?"

"Nope, I'm pretty sure she is. Or at least she's planning on having a lot of fun at your expense," Brooke told him. "God, I'm glad I'm not a student anymore."

"I can't say I don't envy you," Arthur said, honestly, "...Although working for her must take some courage."

"It's a one-day thing and she didn't ask me to model. That's really all I was worried about," Brooke admitted. Even if she'd have looked hot in spandex. That didn't mean it was right.
