Dudes! Babes! Dudes and babes!

I MAY have had a little too much sugar this morning. Have you dudes, like, ever tried to eat Twinkies through your nose? *twitches uncontrollably for a moment, then returns to normal* Ever tried to do six of them in a row? Yeah, uh, I do NOT recommend trying it.

At least not during class. *empties bucket of junk food onto King Arthur's Round Table for the student-dudes to eat*

I hope you all had a most excellent Homecoming. I don't remember most any of it, but I've been told it was a totally outrageous party! OH. And if any of you dudes want backstage passes to a Wyld Stallyns' concert, leave me a voicemail and a Twinkie and you've got it dudes. And babes. Anything for my most triumphant students!

So. Class stuff. I don't feel so good today, because of the sugar and the headbanging and spending most of the morning trying to balance a guitar on my nose, so I'm gonna hand the class over to Professor Ludwig van Beethoven! All the way from.. uh.. where are you from again, dude?

Beethoven: *can't hear Ted, so looks around the room absently until he spots a keyboard. Beethoven perks up, hurries over and starts playing some most excellent classical music.*

Yeah! Listen to Professor Beethoven. If you need to ask him a question, wave at him or throw something soft at him. Hard stuff hurts, dudes. Talk about classical stuff and why it's cool!

Don't forget to sign the attendance sheet for yourself and for your slacker friends who didn't show up. That's what friends are for.

Homework: For next week, research music videos. I know the school gets VH1 and other music-type channels. But don't bother with MTV. MTV sucks now dudes. Watch some music videos and come ready to talk about anything that catches your eye!

Sonia raises her eyebrows in surprise, not quite sure how to answer. She stammers for a moment, but quickly gains her composure and answers the man.

[Me? You'd like me to show you around? Erm, zat is... Ja, it vould not be a problem. But...aren't you vanting to go home?]

He straightens up, and begins walking briskly down the hall past Sonia, then turns back and glares at her impatiently.

[Vell? Vhy do you just stand there? Let's go outside!]

Sonia stares as his retreating back, somewhat in shock, moreso in anger at his condescension. Throwing her hands up in frustration, she grumbles and curses the man, thankful that he cannot read her lips, and follows after him.

[Fine, I vill show you. But if ve're going to be around each ozzer for some time, it vould be qvite helpful if you could, you know, try to be a little nicer? I know zis must be odd for you, but zhat does not mean you can treat me like a fool. Zis applies to other students and especially zer teachers around here, as vell.]

She stops and turns to him, crossing her arms and waiting for an answer. [So? Do ve haff an agreement? I show you around, and you show some respect.]

Ludwig glares down at her, then softens his expression a bit.

[Alright, ja, ve haff an agreement. I...apologize for my outburst. Now tell me...is there somevhere in zis town I might find a drink?]

Sonia nods, and gives him a small grin.

[Zere. Zhat vas not so hard, vos it? Let's see...I believe zere's a pub in town, but zhey don't open for a few more hours. Zer best I can offer you right now is coffee or tea. If you follow me zis vay?]

She indicated Ludwig to follow her, and they continued along the pathway leading outside and to the dorms.
