Art of Seduction [Wednesday, Period Four]

Bond had sent an email to the class, telling them to meet at the main campfire, where he lounged while looking over his notes.

"Now, you're all here to learn about seduction," Bond began, after the number of students before him matched the number of names on his roster. "Or because of a paperwork error. In which case you have my sympathies, but given that you're teenagers, you probably still need all the help you can get. Which may be more than I can give during the length of this course, however I will endeavour to ensure that over the next few weeks you will get a thorough grounding in one of the most important skills you will ever need."

He paused before continuing "To help me get an idea of where you're all at, and what exactly I'll need to cover during the next few weeks, we'll start off with introductions. I want you to tell the class your name, your year, one interesting thing about yourself, and what you hope to get from the class."

"One more thing," Bond said, as he ran a finger down the roster and picked two names out at random. "Frost. Priest. Congratulations, you're now my TAs." So nice of him to give them a choice in the matter.

"I'm George," he began. "George Sands. I'm a senior, I think? That's what I was told, the system's rather different over here and I'm not really used to it yet. And, uh, interesting fact -- I speak six languages? None of which are Hebrew, even though I'm Jewish. Although I suppose you could say that I'm non-practicing. Oh, and I don't speak Russian, beyond a couple of phrases- I'm shutting up now."

He did, in fact, shut up, something that likely would have surprised half the people who knew him back home.

Jack didn't say anything, but he did cut his eyes over toward George. Same age, same religion, almost as many languages as Jack had; he might prove himself interesting.

"It's always a please to have linguists in a class," Bond said, nodding in Penelope's direction. "Welcome to the class, Mr Sands."
