When Words Fail, Music Speaks; Tuesday, Sixth Period [ 04/21 ].

Chad had been in the music room long before the meeting started, plucking at his bass, and when everyone came in, he gave them a little smile. "Good job on the karaoke contest, guys," he said. "Today's our last meeting of the year, and it's just been really nice having everyone come and jam, so let's do it one more time. And then we can go focus on exams or whatever."

Short and sweet. Just like...well, one part was like Chad, anyway.

There are also many snacks, as usual!

Penelope helped herself to some cookies and a soda.

Agnes nibbled on some snacks and listened to the people around her.

Always a good way to settle the nerves. If you are nervous. Chad's already in college, so he's not nervous about exams.

She wasn't nervous, but she did play (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXhNkiLeWE0&feature=related") something she's recently learned.

Robin rather liked Penelope's musical taste. She always played such beautiful things on the piano. If a little sad. Lots of the things she played put him in mind of Beatrice.

He joined in after a bit, providing some harmony on his wee tiny guitar. On which he was getting pretty good.

Agnes added her voice to the mix, humming a wordless harmony that picked up bits from earlier in the song and added them around and on top of the current melody.

Miss Bennet began improvising, trying to tie Agnes's harmony to Penelope's melody.

And there was Chad, picking up on the bass. He tried to keep it dedicatedly straight forward today. No crazy little fancy stuff.

When the lady is present and accounted for.

She is here, and she is still honoured to have been asked to participate in this organization.
