So You Want to Make a TV Show- 2nd Period- Class #13

When the bell rang, Dana took one look at her class and said, "No one is actually thinking even the tiniest bit about school today, huh?

"I'm going to forgive it this time," she decided, passing around a piece of paper for the kids to sign. "These are your sign ups for the final. The job descriptions and expectations are listed there, put your name next to what you want to do, and tah dah. If you don't sign up for something, or if more than one person signs up for more than one thing, I'll be the deciding factor there, so choose wisely, young ones. Once you've done that, you can go, or you can put your head down on your desk and sleep, or," she said, patting the TV, "you can stay and watch cartoons. Glorious, mindless cartoons."

Cartoons were just what he needed today. If he could stay awake enough to watch them, that is.

This class sounded like just what Adora needed to get back into the world as herself.

Jack picked his choice, and put his head down on the desk.

Hannibal signed up to be an anchor. Like there was any doubt.

Claire hesitated -- three things called to her, and she wasn't sure which to pick. She finally went with editor, on the theory it would be more interesting to play with all of the footage after the taping than it would be just to run the camera.

Adora wasn't sure what she'd be best at, but she felt like she'd be less responsible for screwing up anything major by putting her name down for the second anchor position.

Lois decided to sign up for production assistant because, well, there was the slight chance she wouldn't have to do anything if no one needed her. She was lazy like that.

Jenny signed up to be the producer, since she excelled at bossing people around and all.

Turtle's name was definitely going down in hopes to snag the director position, since she was pretty much sure she'd be amazing at it.

Robin thought he'd like to try being an anchor, so he signed up for that.

Dinah signed up to be a writer, since in-front-of-the-camera was not going to be impressive this week, and besides, she had some cool ideas....

He was awake, he was awake, he was...falling asleep on his desk. Oh well, the sounds of the cartoons would be soothing if he actually did fall asleep.

Cartoons were...new to Adora and she watched the screen in wonder. "They are so colorful and happy!" It was like home.

Claire stuck around to watch the cartoons.

Mmmmm, mindless entertainment.

Turtle could totally understand the need for cartoons, really, but the past week had been crippling for business so she really hoped Miss Whitaker didn't mind if Turtle was working on some reports and files instead of paying attention to them.

Sure, she could have gone but just leaving, she felt, made a bad impression.

Dinah's head hit the desk and she started to nap.

Look, she's still coming off the painkillers, 'kay?
