::The classroom has been laid out with different colored macaroni, beads, and multiple kinds of string. As usual, the instructions are written on the board::

"Today, you will make necklaces! You may wear them out."

Marty makes a necklace out of the different colored types of macaroni. He shows it to Ash for credit, but puts it in his pocket.

And then for extra credit tries to make a macaroni sculpture of Ash's Triumph (http://dan.kallenberger.name/dan/macaroni.jpg). (And failes utterly)
