Flight Club [Flight Shed]

It was the first club meeting after the cruise and Gavin figured that everyone could see extra snacks and drinks just to make sure they got through the day. So, Gavin, being a sometimes observant guy, provided those and hoped that he didn't provide too much and everyone would be falling asleep.

"Welcome back," Gavin said, greeting them all with a nod. "Hope everyone had a fun time on the cruise and didn't bring back any sickness or sunburn. If you did, you can just sit out today and recover. If you didn't, today we're going to do something a little different. I've set up some scenarios that you'll have to run through. You can use any of the previous methods of flight we've talked about or any that we might not have. Because, really, we can get into the sim all we want and fly around but most likely, we're not just going to be leisurely flying most of the time. So, eat some snacks and then take your turn!"

Gavin clapped once and then opened the door to the shed.

"Oh, and uh, don't fight with each other." See, he could learn from his mistakes.

John rolled his eyes a little at Gavin's little 'try not to fight' thing while he leaned against some wall. It wasn't like fighting was his goal.

Jaina made a mental note that if anyone got into a fight this week, somebody was getting Force thrown. It'd probably unstress her a little, too, so plus.

Tahiri passed on the snacks today, opting for an extra soda or two instead as she considered the sim options.

As much as all of them sounded like scenarios a little (okay, a lot) beyond what she could handle, anything that had flight controls at all was better than those pods from a few weeks back. Days back. Whatever.

When she heard the hail, Jaina actually said the words, "Are you new?" To herself. Not them. That'd give things away.

And then it was the usual: find out who they were, the proceed to outrun them. Which, she realized, was easier in the Falcon. Score one for her dad.
