The Art of Scrap, Friday, Period 4

When the class congregated in the art room today, they might notice the large stack of somewhat worn clothing heaped up on Dean's desk. With plenty of room left aside for the coffee, no worries.

"This week I was going to get on to talk more about composition," Dean said, frowning down at his mug, which had the string from a lemon tea bag hanging over the side. "But I'm coming down with a cold and I don't feel like talking so much, so you lucky cats get to learn about color theory next week. This week, there are old clothes, scraps of fabric, glue, scissors, needles and thread, and there are even a few sewing machines that I borrowed from the home ec room. Get creative. Make something new. Or work on your sculptures. Just so long as you're keeping busy, I'm satisfied that you're staying out of trouble."

Ugh, tea. That was not his thing.

Leadership, Friday, 3rd Period

It may have been surprising to see the Danger Shop looking like a regular classroom. It may have been even more surprising to see that Scott wasn't paying any attention to the students after they filtered in. In fact, it looked like he was doing his taxes.

After a short time, a holographic chimpanzee walked into the classroom and climbed into a seat. After a couple more minutes of ignoring his surroundings, Scott pushed a button on his desk. If people hadn't figured it out by now, an unfurling banner would make it clear.

Fend For Yourselves
Objectives:

1. Teach the class something you know about leadership.
2. Get the chimp out of the room.

He had been waiting to see if anyone would step up and take charge of the class before that. But mostly it looked like he was really focusing on his taxes.

Library [2/10]

Wesley got to the library to find that there was a stack of... adult fiction on the cart of books to reshelve.

He blushed fiercely as he reshelved the other books on the cart and left the less appropriate ones to be returned to Special Collections. By... not him. He'd say it was because he wasn't certain if he was allowed in there, but really he was just mortified by the idea of having to bring them back to their proper section.

So they were just on the cart for right now. Staring at him.

Chasing History's Monsters [Friday, Period 1]

Once all of the students had arrived, Annja smiled and began talking.

"The Yeti. The creature has many names, including the one that most are more familiar with, the Abominable Snowman. His main home is said to be in the mountains of the Himalayan region of Nepal and Tibet."

Arya shook her head as she continued with the narrative. "He has been said to look like some kind of giant ape-like creature with shaggy hair." She looked at Annja with a raised eyebrow and her co-teacher shook her head almost imperceptibly. "Apparently he has also been thought to leave footprints behind that could be mistaken for ... a wolf?"

Arya's face was full of disbelief as she looked at Annja for confirmation. "They actually have mistaken the tracks of an ape with those of a wolf?"
