Cooking Club [Home Ec Classroom, Thursday]

Ned looked a little grumpy and a lot confused today. Things weren't...going well for him privately and he had no idea how to not let that bleed into his public life especially considering he had to run the club today. Well, he had to set up the club and let Liir take it away with his idea. That was almost a blessing in disguise because Ned had no idea how he was going to get through a club meeting without twitching and asking if anyone else was having issues.

"Hey guys," he said, waving dorkily. "Today we're gonna do something a little different. Liir had an idea for something new to do and I'm going to let him explain since he knows it better than me."

With that, he gave the nod to Liir and tried not to twitch.

Chad seemed to have been making some effort to make his otherwise bulking mass far less noticeable today. He didn't want to bring attention to himself today.

...Or the nice black eye he was sporting today.

He was a bit red since he hadn't forgotten he was doing this but he still hadn't figured out exactly what to do until, well, Ned nodded at him.

"Well, um, it's kind of a cooking competition. People would volunteer in pairs, I would guess, so we could all get involved, to 'compete' against each other, each with, um, well, an ingredient they have to work into a dish or more. And then we'd all taste the dishes we hadn't cooked and judge who's the winner, not just on how tasty the dish was, but on how well they'd integrated the special ingredient. So, um, if you have any questions, you can ask me, but we should all find partners, I think. And I've got a few things picked for ingredients for each pair."

Beat.

"Though if you don't want to play, you can judge. I want to play, but if no one wants to play with me, I'll judge."

[feel free to use this post to ask questions and find partners]

Marshall had his head against a desk and was trying to pretend he was asleep. He didn't really want to snap at kids today.

Looks good to me! Unfortunately, I do not have a picture of Louis Garrel chomping into a yellow pepper.

TOTALLY forgot I was doing this today!
