Blank Page Art Club, Art Classroom, Monday 2/16 (After Classes)

It wasn't by intention or design that Katchoo made it down before everyone else did this week, unless you meant by the intention and design of a cute and innocuous little clock who'd pestered her and pestered her until she headed down just to find that she was the first one there.

With a shrug, she got all the supplies out, set up an easel for herself in the corner, and got to work after putting up a sign that read:

Georgia O'Keefe had flowers. What's your metaphor?

It wasn't really a discussion question. It was just sort of there -- she wanted to see if the dirty implications hadn't occurred to anyone yet, and how they'd react.

"Yeah, well, I'm glad we didn't end up going to the dance," Peyton admitted. "They never quite seem to turn out well for me. So when Dean suggested another option, I was all for it."

"I guess, whatever works for you," Angela shrugged. She was a partier, and would never full understand Peyton's dance issues. "It worked out better for me than if I'd stayed home," she said. "I had fun."

"Yeah? And did you ask a certain someone to go with you?" Peyton probed.

"Nooo, but I got my dance, and that'll do me," she replied.

Peyton nodded. "I guess I just really like happy endings."

"Maybe sometimes the best ones just take a little time?" Angela suggested easily.

"Maybe so," Peyton said with a grin. "So... you doing that cruise thing over break?"

"Oh, come one, a week in the Caribbean?" Angela laughed. "Like I'd even consider skipping out on that while I had the option."

"Yeah, well, just saying the intention is to have sex is fine," Peyton said, yes, blushing already. "But okay, you're right."

Angela shook her head with a smile. "Just keep letting me do it, and I'm set."

"Probably not easily," Angela admitted with a shrug.

"Well, then, I guess we'll just have to continue on."

Peyton smiled at Angela, then frowned down at her sketchpad where she'd drawn the image of a somewhat older woman with longish blonde hair and a tired face.
