Gavin may have gone overboard with the snacks and drinks today but he still felt bad (especially towards one person) about this weekend so he thought overloading on snacks might make people forget about this weekend. It worked out in his mind and all.

"Hey guys," he said, nodding. "Glad to see everyone's back to normal after this weekend. We're all probably used to the weird stuff happening but that doesn't make it any less weird. Anyway, glad to see you all back. Today, we're gonna take you back to where planes began. Mostly for this planet since we're here and the sim's got them programmed but I'll try and throw something up from other places, if I can. They may not be the fastest or the best looking but these are how things started way back when. It took trial and error to get the right design and, even now, people are still tinkering with designs to make them faster, better, and stronger. Today, we're going back and we're gonna fly the pokey aircraft just to get a feel of how far things have come."

He opened the sim's door and waited for each person to take a turn.

"No. I'm going to stay over here and hide and that might get attention." She thought about it. "Guaranteed to get attention, really."

"Even if it didn't...I don't see it happening," he replied.

"No. We make other opportunities for that," she nodded.

"There's always a dance Friday if you're inclined," John said. No, he was never going to ask her to one of these things properly. It might signal the end of the world.

"I'm way ahead of you. I already assumed we were going," Jaina said.

"Oh?" Color him surprised. "So I shouldn't have asked anyone before I asked you? I'll remember that for prom."

She stuck her tongue out at him. "I'll just take this as you asking me to prom now then." Awww, lookit who was planning that far ahead!

"Guess I'll never have the chance to ask properly," John said. Not that he really minded.

"Like you would've," she grinned.

"Hey, it could happen. I might work myself up for an occasion," he smirked.

"I suppose if you really wanted to work yourself up, you could do so," she said, "but you know I'll say yes."

"To anything I ask?" Now he was just being mean.

"No. But maybe if it's good."

"I'm keeping this in mind now," he replied. "And no forgetting I already asked you to prom because I'm not asking again."

"I could develop amnesia, you know," she pointed out. "This is Fandom."

"Yeah, but if you got amnesia, you wouldn't remember me either. So I'm thinking then I'd be safe," John teased.

"Point," she agreed. "Okay, you win this one."

"I won?" The shock. "What's my prize?"

She reached up to try and mess up his hair. "PDA."
