Gavin may have gone overboard with the snacks and drinks today but he still felt bad (especially towards one person) about this weekend so he thought overloading on snacks might make people forget about this weekend. It worked out in his mind and all.

"Hey guys," he said, nodding. "Glad to see everyone's back to normal after this weekend. We're all probably used to the weird stuff happening but that doesn't make it any less weird. Anyway, glad to see you all back. Today, we're gonna take you back to where planes began. Mostly for this planet since we're here and the sim's got them programmed but I'll try and throw something up from other places, if I can. They may not be the fastest or the best looking but these are how things started way back when. It took trial and error to get the right design and, even now, people are still tinkering with designs to make them faster, better, and stronger. Today, we're going back and we're gonna fly the pokey aircraft just to get a feel of how far things have come."

He opened the sim's door and waited for each person to take a turn.

Tahiri grinned and waggled a pretzel in his direction.

Ben came a little closer. "So...guess what I saw on my way to class today."

"I'm guessing it wasn't Master Durron in pink tights, or your face would look a lot different right now," Tahiri said, then took a bite out of the pretzel and chewed before adding, "I'm glad you're back to being yourself, by the way."

Ben laughed. "Yeah, me too. I got to call Mos Eisley a wretched hive of scum and villainy, though. That was fun."

"Well, it is," Tahiri grinned. "So, if it wasn't Master Durron in pink tights, what did you see?"

"Tickets for a dance on sale," he said oh-so-innocently.

"Oh, is that what that was all about?" Tahiri asked, just as innocently. Maybe even more innocently. "For that V-something holiday?"

Ben nodded. "And since we went to the last dance together..."

"You think we should continue the trend," Tahiri guessed. Because it was so hard to tell where he was going with that line of thought.

His cheeks went pink. "If you want to," he said, sounding shy.

"Do I want to? Are you kidding? Do rancors have teeth?" Tahiri answered, total romantic that she was.

"Do they?" Ben teased. "Maybe there's an extensive rancor denture program I don't know about."

Tahiri stuck her tongue out at him. "If there is, has anyone told Tenel Ka?"

Ben's expression didn't change, but his Force-sense kind of...winced. "I'm not planning to," he said, keeping it light. "She could kick my butt."

The look that crossed Tahiri's face when she felt that wince was like a milder and more visual version of his reaction. "Did I just step in something I shouldn't have?"

Ben waved his hand. "Future stuff," he said. "Short version being even Tenel Ka's not immune to Jacen being who he is now."

"Great," Tahiri muttered. "In non-future stuff --" of a happier variety -- "yeah, of course I want to go with you."

Ben's smile couldn't get bigger. Really. There was no way. "I'll get the tickets, then."

If they'd been even remotely subtle at this point, Tahiri's answering grin pretty much wiped that out. "That sounds like a good plan to me."

Ben spared a glance toward Jaina. "It's a...thing, then."

Tahiri's gaze flicked quickly in that direction, but she nodded, trying to look casual. "Definitely."

They completely failed at casual, yes. "So...try not to crash today?" he teased.

"That was the plan," Tahiri told him with an exaggerated nod. "I set the bar high. Really high."

"It was one of the first things I noticed," he said solemnly. "'Hell of a divot Tahiri makes in the ground,' I said."

"Hey," Tahiri said, reaching out to try and poke him. "At least I crash in style."

She really didn't.
