Study Hall -- Tuesday, October 11th

Sarah leans back in her chair, a dartboard set on the far wall that she's lazily throwing darts at. Almost every one hits the target -- the ones that don't make her scowl and put her in an even worse mood.

There's a sign set up on the desk that says, "Congratulations to the new student council," but every time one of the winners walks into the room, she gives them a nasty glare. She doesn't trust politicians, no matter how young they might be.

"I didn't really see you at homecoming, I've only heard stories. But, yeah, Perky Parker? Not your best look."

Rogue's mouth dropped. "How...am I that obvious? Oh, you can't tell anyone, promise? Please Parker? I feel so silly..." She clasps her hands together, and starts popping her knuckles.

"TELL me about it. I wish so many people hadn't gotten photos."

Parker grins. "No, you're not obvious. The 'grr' slip is what did it for me. Plus I saw you around him, after we whacked him with a really big book." She looks thoughtful. "If I were still into older guys, I could be into him."

Rogue blushes. "Well damn. At least I know I'm not too obvious." She looks a little dreamy. "He's just so...nice, and smart and distinguished..." She shakes her head, snapping out of it. "Sorry. I know I'm bein' silly."

She tries to turn the subject away from her crush. "So, Rob Gordon kinda killed the older man crush thing?"

"He is all that," Parker agrees, then shudders. "Much better than Coach Ash was, under the influence. I'm trying not to hold it against him. By comparison, Dr. Grissom is Pierce Brosnan."

"And God, yes. Killed it with a boombox." Parker makes a face. "I thought more experience would mean he wouldn't get stupid, but I was way, way off. Sex, great. Poetry, not."
