The Cafeteria, early afternoon Thursday

After her sparring session with Jen, and a quick shower, the hat ended up back on Dinah's head. Giving up on changing that, she headed for the cafeteria to grab a quick lunch.

Marco gave her a quick "aw, shucks" grin. "Marco, like the dude. And I'm sure it's nowhere near to how well you're wearing it."

Even after Tuesday, she still wasn't used to people being this complimentary. "Thank you!" Dinah grinned and took another sip of her Coke. "So, weirdest Fandom experience that might happen to us again, so I can hide from it or at least hit it with a baseball bat afterward?"

Marco had been aiming for flirty. "Dinosaurs." He said quickly. "Weirdest, but oh so awesomest."

Flirty would probably have worked on Dinah too, if it weren't for the hats. It was a huge handicap for anything like that.

On the other hand, dinosaurs worked for cool. "Really? Seriously? When was this? Did they wreck anything? Was there a T-Rex?"

Nothing was more awesome than a T-Rex.

Marco grinned. "Don't remember, didn't think to, and I fought one." He morphed into a poodle and ran away. "And it wasn't even my first time against dinosaurs."

"Wow. Like, how big of one?" Dinah asked, then had to tilt her hat as she leaned forward. "And what was the first time like?"
