Gavin was out a little earlier than usual at the flight shed, giving himself some extra sim time since he'd been slacking off on that particular activity for awhile. It was way too easy to be lazy.

But, he was outside the shed, greeting the club members when meeting time came around. There were snacks and drinks, ready to be consumed (no alcohol as much as some people might like it after yesterday).

"Hey everyone," Gavin greeted after everyone arrived. "Last week, we did atmosphere flying. Today, we're gonna hit space. I've tried to give you all options on which ship you wanna fly. They're all different, with different controls and different ways of handling so you'll have to take some time to get used to the controls. I've set the sim up to this planet's galaxy and what you'll be doing is navigating your choice of ship around the Earth. No, you don't have to get all the way around but using the Earth as sort of a road will allow you to move around without fear of getting lost."

He opened the door to the shed and nodded. "First up?"

Tahiri leaned in and narrowed her eyes at him playfully. "The worst bad feeling ever."

"Noted," he said, laughing. "I'll sleep with one eye open to avoid a sudden tickle attack or something."

"It's when you're not sleeping that you have to worry about it," Tahiri pressed, grinning.

"Oh, you can't sneak up on me when I'm awake," Ben said, just asking for it.

"Oh, you think so, do you?" Tahiri asked, arching an eyebrow. "We're just going to have to see about that, mister."

"I'm not afraid of you," Ben said, laughing. Dumbass.

Tahiri reached out to poke him in the stomach. "That's your mistake," she said, only it was hard to sound even playfully threatening through giggles.

"I thought the correct reply is 'you should be,'" Ben said, laughing harder.

"Dork," Tahiri said affectionately. "I was trying to be creative!"

"In my family, we are never creative," Ben lied. "We just sit around and quote Master Yoda."

"All the time? I know he lived a really long time, but he can't have been that quotable," Tahiri teased.

"Well, when we're not watching all of the terrible holodramas about Dad and Uncle Han and listening to Aunt Leia yell about not being rescued nearly that often," Ben allowed. "Or when we're practicing our dance routines."

Tahiri half stifled a laugh at the mental image of Leia yelling at a vid screen. "Speaking of which, when do I get to see the dance routine?"

"I have to talk to Jaina about bringing me back the leotards," Ben lied.

"Ben Skywalker," Tahiri said, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Too much?"

"Yes," she said, and stuck her tongue out at him. "And I never want to picture your father in a leotard ever again."

"Gah!" Ben made a face. "Sorry."

"I can picture you in a leotard instead?" she offered.

"I'm not sure that's much better," he said with a shy laugh.

"I'd rather picture that than your dad," Tahiri said; her ears were turning slightly red. "It's . . . kind of cute in my head."

"You will never, ever find out," he said.

"Not ever?" She put on a disappointed look. "I can't even try to convince you?"

"Depends on the convincing," Ben said, "but probably not."

Tahiri heaved an unnecessarily melodramatic sigh. "I guess I'll just have to get by with the mental image, then."
