When Words Fail, Music Speaks; Tuesday, Sixth Period 2/3

Everything was ready and set up for those in the music club, although there were no snacks today other than water bottles. Penelope really didn't think people were interested in eating when trying to sing or play.

When those who came were assembled, Penelope stood and very briefly gave a short speech on the type of music she liked to play, which was of course, classical. Not enjoying being the center of attention, she sat at the piano and waited to see if anyone else wanted to share or just simply wanted to play their instrument of choice or sing.

Chad loved that Penelope loved classical music, because it always made him feel very cool that, when it came to jamming he could do a little rock-classical fusion sort of thing.

Agnes found that she inexplicably knew most of the words. Not because of magic, or anything Fandom-related; it's just something that happens -- Queen songs seem to be hard-wired into the collective unconscious. At any rate, the song called for four-part harmony, and Agnes was happy to provide all four parts.

Miss Bennet did not recognize the song, as she seemed to pre-date the collective unconscious of Queen. But a few arpeggios and chord progressions never went amiss, and from there she began exploring more ambitious additions to the song.

"Oooh," Chad couldn't help complimenting, "good choice."
