When Words Fail, Music Speaks; Tuesday, Sixth Period [ 01/27 ].

As usual, everything was out and ready for usage in the music room as Chad got set up for club. There were a few snacks, too, but he wasn't paying them much attention. It was kind of hard to play guitar and eat pretzels at the same time.

"So, I was thinking," he told the club, "that maybe something we can do is have a few weeks were we each take a turn talking about the kind of music we like. We can use today to volunteer for that kind of stuff, you know? And we've also got to talk a little about when might be good dates for the karaoke contest for this semester."

There was a sort of dragging pause.

"And then we can just play and stuff like usual today."

So very, very low-key.

Anyone want to volunteer to discuss their music? IC volunteers can also post club for that week!

Any thoughts on days for the contest? It'll likely be on Tuesday again, too, so it shouldn't interfere with too many other things going on in-game.

"I would be willing," she said in a quiet voice. "I can even do this next week, if that is acceptable with everyone."

"That sounds really good, Penelope," Chad said with a nod. "It's all yours."

"That sounds like fun." Robin said. Though, now he'd have to pick a favorite type of music.

Grab an instrument or warm up your voice and get jamming.

Or just chatting with each other works, too.

She enjoyed classicals, mhm.

Chad decided his was really glad for Penelope's selection of what to play and, hoping she wouldn't mind, feeling a little inspired, his head bobbed a bit to pick up on her pace before he started in, adding some very rockish bass guitar to it, just to see if it sounded as cool as he'd hope it would.

The fusion of classical and rock could always be awesome.

She didn't mind at all because it was awesome and she cast her gaze over at him while her own head began to bob a bit.

Robin concentrated, and tried to work out how to incorporate his banjo into the mix.

Peyton just sat off to the side and watched. Play or sing? Not likely.

"Uhm, I sent our recording of the tribute off to a band I know." Robin said. "And they sent me back the final mix. Would you like to hear?"

"Yeah, sure," Chad grunted. "Let's hear it."

Robin slipped the tape into the player, and hit play (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InR67LcyQ-o). Each of the additions, blended seamlessly and created a haunting melody.

Robin had not listened to it before, and found himself a bit choked up afterwards.

"So, what do you think?"
