Student Council Meeting, Friday, Lunch

Today's provided lunch was pizza.

"Valentine's Day will be here before we know it," Nathan said. "Traditionally Student Council has a dance as well as flower delivery. Joan has graciously offered to take point on flowers. We need volunteers for the dance. There's ticket selling and ~~posting~~ setting up the dance itself. I'll pass a sheet around for you to sign up for whatever task you can do."

"I can sell tickets one day," Lee volunteered. "I'll even wear a shirt with a big heart on it."

"I can do tickets, as per usual," Ender volunteered. "Just not on Mondays."

"I can sell tickets too," Harvey said. "But I'm not wearing a shirt with a big heart on it."

Ideas for a dance theme, suggestions on future events, that sort of thing.

"After the past few days, I almost wanna suggest a winter theme with cuddling under blankets, log cabins, fireplaces, and the like," Lee said."

"Not sure about the blankets," Nathan said. "The chaperones probably won't approve. But the rest sounds nice."

"The chaperones could cuddle too!"

Lee didn't realize how that sounded until it came out of his mouth.

"...with other adults, of course. Yeah, maybe that's a bad idea."

"Or what if we go the opposite direction," Joan suggested. "A luau or something to get us thinking warm thoughts?"

"Oooh, good idea," Lee said, nodding. "Beachy themed?"
