When Words Fail, Music Speaks; Tuesday, Sixth Period [ 01/20 ].

The nice thing about running a very laid back club is that it didn't take much to get ready for it. Chad had some snacks; he made sure all the instruments in the music room were readily available, and then he just sat back and plucked at his guitar until everyone got there.

And once everyone did get there, there wasn't a whole lot more to do, either.

"Thanks for coming," he started. "Welcome to music club. We don't do much. We play music. We talk about music. Today, I was thinking we'd just introduce ourselves and talk about what kind of music we play and like. Next week, we can bring in CDs and stuff and share our favourites. If you don't have CDs or are from somewhere that doesn't have them, don't worry. But today we'll just get to know each other and maybe jam a little."

"Oh, and our new advisor is Miss Bennet; she's very awesome for helping us out."

Robin joined in on the banjo.

Agnes hummed along, finding a harmony that wove between and around the guitar and banjo.

It seemed strangely presumptuous to interrupt, but it seemed a bit more freeform than a proper recital, where one displayed one's accomplishments for a crowd. And so Miss Bennet seated herself at the piano and endeavoured to follow along, improvising in small flourishes here and there where they would not seem too showy.
