The Club Fair; Gym; Friday Afternoon [ 01/16 ].

Never one to shy away from getting her hands dirty in the tedious work of helping a student body run nice and smooth not dirty, Turtle had been very eager to help set up the club fair again this semester, putting up all the signs and posters and little treats on Westing Paper Products. The Club Schedule was very prominently displayed were everyone could see it before disappearing into the small maze of tables filling in the gym.

That, and it also helped her hold off the inevitable moment of seeing how this whole laundry strike thing was really effecting Jeff. Ahhhh, manual labor, the true opiate of the work-addicted masses.

[[ Each Most clubs will have two threads: a promotion table for interaction with the club head(s) and an OOC sign up sheet to join the club. There is an exception, as Fandom High Gremlins is an audition club; please sign up to audition rather than to simply be in the club ]]

"Oh, yeah, she was my Lit teacher last semester," she said, still going on like it was a normal day where she might've been wearing something like a turtleneck. "A little old-fashioned, not big on talking in class..."

"...I forgot you were in that class. She plays piano, though, so that's good."

"Yeah, it helps to have a music advisor who actually knows something about it," she mused. "Well, cool, I hope she works out awesome."

"She will," Chad said, nodding with conviction.

And he just stuck with that because all he could think to say next was to ask if Brooke would go find clothes now. She could even have his shirt if she wante--

Chad blinked, pressing a hand against his chest, which now suddenly appeared rather shirtless.

...There went that idea.

Brooke just smiled, not about to check her big brother out. "See, if I don't think about things like that, the headache stays away," she said knowingly.

"...I just really hope," Chad said, still patting his chest as if that would help bring his shirt back, "the pants don't go next. Teddy would kill me."

She didn't look down. It'd just be wrong. "I'd vouch for you," she said, and paused. "Which, okay, I realize I might not be the most reliable witness when it comes to clothing removal, accidental or otherwise, but I would."

"Thanks," Chad said, but he sounded a bit more worried. "I just know sometimes I have problems with suddenly disappearing pants."

Which was probably more than Brooke needed to know, but now Chad was a little distressed that he'd end up sitting naked on the roof tonight, and that was never, ever a good thing in the past.
