When the students arrived for their class today, they'd find themselves in just a regular old classroom. But not for long.

"Good morning, younglings!" Minsc, the very large fellow with the scars and the armour and the tattoos and...the hamster...greeted the students boisterously, pounding a fist down on the large desk in front of the blackboard. "Welcome to Care for Magical Creatures! I am your teacher, Minsc, and this is my companion, Boo! In a moment, we shall get started, but at the moment, there is something very important we must do first! These desks! They are evil! They are restrictive! Up! Up out of the desk and quickly, children, we must destroy them entirely and make some proper space in this room!"

"Up, up!" Minsc waved his arms to encourage his students to his feet and, with a great, guttural sort of battlecry, he lifted his foot and kicked it straight into one of the desks. It went flying from the impressive blow, toward the front of the room, smashing into a thousand pieces against the blackboard and settling in a small pile of broken legs and pieces.

"Well? What are you waiting for? Vanquish these desks!"

Leto blinked, looking at John. "I have never been in a coffee shop," he said. "Perhaps you mistake me for Gavin Darklighter." He missed the part about girl turning into guys, because that seemed irrelevant.

"No, no, Gavin I know," John shook his head. "But the destiny class teacher." He should remember names better. "She turned into you and I thought she was Gavin except for the eye thing. Sorry, obviously you're not her. I'm John."

"My sister? Ghanima?" Leto was still confused. "And it's nice to meet you John, but I think you have to explain this further."

"Right! Professor Atreides," John nodded, memory appropriately jogged. "There was a day when a bunch of the girls on campus turned into guys, and since I gather you're new, you should be aware it's happened to us guys before, too." Just a little aside to help a newbie feel right at home, nice John. "And I guess your sister turned into you? Because I thought she was Gavin. It was a weird day."

"Oh." Leto thought about this for a moment. "So while I'm here, I might suddenly turn into my sister?" The thought was kind of amusing, and he smiled. "And do all sorts of things and give her the blame?"

John laughed, "That's the spirit of it. Gotta take advantage of the little things Fandom gives you before the shit hits the fan."

"It seems like I can expect all sorts of things, including turning into animals," Leto observed.

"Yeah, I can't say that last thing's any fun except for when people don't know it's you." Then you could get unexpected belly rubs.

"So, you've been a rabbit? I've never seen a rabbit." It wasn't like they would survive very long on Arrakis.

"Yeah, they're strange animals I guess. Big feet and long ears," he shrugged. "Who knows, maybe you'll get to see my version at some point this semester." Just so long as he wasn't the slutty cookie, John would likely cope.

"You seem used to this," Leto observed.

"It's happened four or five times now," John sighed.

"And always a rabbit?" Leto asked, curious.
