The Library; Monday [ 12/15 ].

The standard operating mode for Cal's mood was indifference, so it was fairly notable that his mood today when opening the library was a very decided good. Even if things didn't wind up to the preferred outcome, Claire had seemed to at least understand, even if she realized that it was just a bit too weird, and he didn't chicken out, so Ino couldn't even yell at him. That called for a little more than indifference, really.

As usual, Cal's at the desk first period, organizing books to go back out on the shelves.

And then he's off to the shelves, putting those books away.

Back at the desk, Cal tried to think of what he should study for, what with exams coming up, but he was thinking his load was pretty damn easy. Art was easy enough, Cullen's class just demanded that he hone his bullshitting skills, and cooking class...

...well, he could boil water. Wasn't that a guaranteed A? And, in doubt, flaming cheese.

He should take some harder classes next semester.

The good mood wasn't enough to deter Cal from a cigarette break, but, for a change, it kind of mellowed him out instead of just making him antsy. Either way, he's gone behind the school, so the library's open to other aides and Doctor Jones.

Cal's being careful not to get the crumbs of his sandwich on his book.

Realizing that he should probably try to think of something, Cal spent his last hour at the library trying to pick at some ideas for a final article.

Something clever should go here.
