Library; Monday [ 12/08 ].

Sucking down the last of a hard-boiled egg for breakfast and wishing he'd gotten a bigger coffee, Cal came in to pen the library in the hopes for a nice, comfortable, potentially nap-filled day.

As usual, Cal started the day by organizing all the book still to go on the shelf, occasionally distracted by an interesting title or anything with ooh-pretty pictures in it.

And, also according to near-tradition, Cal was away from the desk during second period, putting the books back in the shelves.

Still getting occasionally distracted by interesting titles or ooh-pretty pictures.

Ooh-pretty pictures had lost out to one of those collections of short stories put together by people running college writing programs and filled with authors in those college writing programs that only other people in college programs ever really cared about.

It was interesting, really, the things people thought to write about because it made them notably different or edgy, especially since Cal knew the most interesting thing he'd ever written was entirely non-fiction.

Out for a smoke, the library's only open to other people who can actually get in while Cal's not there.

Cal's trying not to get any crumbs from his late lunch on any of the books.

The computer on the desk was actually being used, although in a way that made it look like if Cal noticed anyone coming, he'd pretend he was doing no such thing.

But these things were supposed to be able to contain a great deal of information, and he was wondering if there was a way he could use it to find out if there was a new episode of Rumor Gal on this week. He didn't want to end up disappointed like two weeks ago, although the last episode almost made him wonder what he'd like about it because it was God-awful.
