Library: Thursday

Indiana was a little surprised when Sam didn't show up for his shift at the library today. The kid was usually more responsible than this.

After waiting an additional fifteen minutes for him to appear, Indy gave up and opened up the library himself.

It's about time he actually worked for a living.

After getting a good amount of books checked in and put away, Indy grabbed an Archaeology magazine to read and sat down behind the desk.

Turns out that the archaeology magazine was a bit of a snooze and Indy found himself nodding off as he attempted to read it.

Now Indy was reading a new article about deforestation. It had nothing to do with Archaeology but it didn't put him to sleep either.

Roused by the noise, Indy lifted the brim of his hat up and nodded at the kid.

"So am I," Indiana said straightening up in his chair. "He didn't show up for his shift today. It's not like him to skip out without calling first."

"It's really not," Peter agreed. He felt a flicker of worry. "Um - he had a weird Fandom thing happen to him. Maybe he's still dealing with the aftereffects?"

Peter was telling himself this as much as Indiana.
