There are several empty bottles on the table. The professor has at some previous point sucked the air out of one of the bottles, which has now trapped his tongue. He looks up, and attempts to smile.

Ah. Aurgh eaurhia eualia.

He looks confused. he pulls at the bottle, without success.

*carefully breaks bottle so as to untrap the professor's tongue without cutting him anywhere*

He licks his lips. he licks the inside of his mouth. He tries to lick his tongue, and can't quite work out why he's unable to do so.

Coffee, yes.

He stands up, walks a few of steps towards one of the counters. He stands still, swaying slightly, for a few moments. And then he very carefully, very deliberately, sits down cross-legged on the floor.

I'll just sit here for a bit. Coffee would be very good. There's some Klaatchian dark roast over there.

She makes coffee.

One of those bottles trapped my tongue, you know. It's dangerous stuff, this alcohol. I have a couple of friends who like alcohol. Alcohol. Colcohale. Hilcahaa. Alcalcalcalc... oh, coffee, thank you.
