That morning, Chad had ~~oh so handwavily~~ sent out an email to everyone in the club, hoping they'd get it, but no big deal if they didn't. It was simply that Turtle asking him to watch Nana for the evening (he was still a little surprised that she had, but he got twenty bucks out of the deal, plus he really liked Nana) inspired him for something fun to do for the club.

Fun, or potentially disastrous. In his email, he had made a request that anyone with pets to bring them. As a result, he had not only the giant Saint Bernard, but also Prince Oscar Pedro and Sir Galliano, his and Teddy's cats. And he was strumming his guitar, trying to encourage them to make sound and noise along with it.

"I thought," he explained, "our pets could join our jam session today. This is Nana, Prince Oscar Pedro, and Sir Galliano, for those of you who don't know them. Also, next Tuesday there's no official club, because it's the Karaoke Competition, so we'll meet at Caritas. I'm putting up posters this weekend because everyone's probably thinking about Thanksgiving. Also, speaking of Thanksgiving, the cheerleaders are putting together a dinner that you should go to if you're here."

And that was the most Chad was going to talk if he could help it, so he settled in to see if the pets knew Stairway to Heaven.

Agnes sang a wordless melody and petted Nana.

Penelope played Old McDonald had a farm on the piano, giggling at the big fluffy dog. It seemed almost as big as she was! It was beautiful!

Savannah was working on her song... and Destiny kept trying to help.

Robin didn't have a pet, but he watched and listened interestedly.
