Physics, Monday, Class #12, Period 4

"Hey, everyone," Sam greeted them. "Since everyone's probably mentally ready for Thanksgiving and our time off, I'm going to give you a choice of activities. First, if you want to work on your final projects, there's plenty of room for that, and I'll be here eventually to answer any questions you may have--though I won't offer suggestions, as much as it might kill me to keep my mouth shut. The other option is to watch some episodes of Mister What, and for you to tell me of at least one thing that we've discussed and that they've used as a plot device. Also, why does or doesn't it work?"

Chad knew that he and Tosh had a lot of work to do, probably, so he looked around for her.

TV won over working on the catapult. Romeo lounged in his chair, deciding the physician companion was much hotter than the blond girl.

... it was completely an important line of scientific enquiry.

While John probably needed to work with Rodney on their catapult, hanging out in front of the TV was the more natural choice.

Since the catapult really only needed a few finishing touches, Rodney figured he could afford to watch some official class sanctioned TV.

John wished he had popcorn to throw at McKay. He settled for a pen.

Sokka -- of COURSE -- was plopped in front of the TV. The plot was mediocre and the explosions weren't awesome enough, but watching the 10th Mister flail around like a madman? Absolutely BRILLIANT.

Naomi wound up watching TV instead of working on her project.

Rodney's here for anyone who needs help or wants to snark about the show.

"Uh, Miss...Professor...Carter, ma'am?" Sam said awkwardly. He was always awkward, but probably more so when dealing with a teacher apparently two years older than him. "I have a problem. My car left."
