When Words Fail, Music Speaks club; Tuesday, 5pm. [ 11/18 ]

When the club gathered as usual in the music room, they'd find a variety of other instruments that weren't exactly musical ones, but, rather, instruments for a different kind of art: poster boards, markers, stencils, scissors, construction papers, you name it. And, yes, even glitter.

"So," Chad said. "I figured we should start advertising the December Second Karaoke Competition soon, so I brought a lot of stuff so anyone can make posters if they're inspired to do so. Or we could just jam as usual. Whatever. Maybe the jamming will move you to make your posters, or something."

There's a wide range of supplies available for poster-making.

Savannah was happily making posters.

Penelope loved drawing so she sat and began making a lovely poster that included pretty flowery vines. Colorful even.

Agnes sat down and started working on a poster while humming happily.

Let your music spirit out.

Savannah had found a song that she wanted to work more on.

She was trying to figure out if there was a way she could turn it into a solo or if she could get one of the guys to sing it with her.

For now, she was softly singing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ScHLQWfgBH4) it herself.

Penelope sat at the piano and began to play a lively tune.

Savannah stopped singing to sit and listen.

Penelope smiled at Savannah and continued playing, her fingers dancing along the keys of the piano. She was playing Fallin' by Alicia Keys. Maybe Savannah knew it and could sing along?

Savannah did indeed know it and she started singing as Penelope played the piano.

That made her smile grow wide and she stared at Savannah, listening to her lovely voice as she played.

When she saw Penelope's smile grow, Savannah continued to sing along.

She liked seeing her friend smile.

Penelope was in a good mood, despite the fact that she didn't hear from Liir about the flowers she sent him yesterday.

It was such a silly thing for her to do. She blushed even thinking about it and bent her head, finishing up the song because she didn't need to be thinky did she? No. Not at all, she was in a good mood.

Flowers. Just because she loved them didn't mean it was an okay thing for her to do.

With the song finished, she looked up at Savannah and smiled. "That was wonderful, thank you."

Savannah beamed. "Thank you. I enjoyed it."

"Good!" she said, smiling. "You sing beautifully."

"Thank you, Penelope," Savannah smiled. "You play beautifully as well."

"Thank you," she replied kindly.

"We should do it again sometime," Savannah said.

"I would like that, Savannah."

As usual, Chad and his bass were sitting and listening to the others, and quietly picking up on a line to go along with theirs.

"Hi everybody. I was hoping to get a more concrete idea of who could help me out with my project."

"I can still help, Robin," Savannah said cheerfully.

"That'd be great Savannah." Robin said gratefully. "Maybe we can work on it on Thursday. Not sure where though."

"Come by my work on Thursday and we do it there?"

"Oh that'd be great! Groovy Tunes?" he guessed.

"Nast Sporting Goods."

"That'll work too."

"Hello, Robin," Penelope said. "I can help you, if you wish. I play the piano, as you've noticed."

"Thank you Penelope. Have you heard the song yet?"

"I don't remember having heard it, no," she replied.

"Okay, well here it is." Robin dug into his bag and got out the tape. He put it in the player, and hit play (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InR67LcyQ-o).

Penelope listened quietly. "That's very pretty, Robin," she said when it was over.

"I think so too." Robin nodded. "Savannah says we can practice stuff at Nast Sporting Goods on Thursday."

"That sounds very nice. I'm kind of limited in practicing with you considering the piano involvement."

Hmm, that was a good point. "I might be able to come up with something."

"Okay," she smiled. "I'm very willing to help you."

"I really appreciate it." he thanked her. "And I'm sure Beatrice does too." His voice caught a bit when he said that.

Mike was still all chocolate-y and melt-y ~~because his mun is silly and forgot to post his transformation~~ but he still managed to show up.

Listening to an instrumental piece makes it difficult to post lyrics.

Okay, technically, there's some Chinese, but...yeah.
