"Today, class, we're going to continue working on the assignment from last week," Lulu began. "Since everyone chose to work on the more complicated pattern, you can just continue on with that. After you're finished, feel free to socialise amongst yourselves, as long as you don't disturb those who are still working." She paused, with a slight smile. "And I have tea, coffee, and pastries for you, as well."

Francine had more or less finished the pants last time, but this gave her the chance to play with them a little bit, so she tried tapering the legs down some, like capris.

Lulu gave Amber a particularly intrigued look. "And Fandom strikes again," she said simply. "The best thing for you to do, then, is to do this patter from last week," she continued, pulling out the pattern for the Thai fisherman's pants (http://boom.bolenat.com/page.asp?page=make_fish). "You should be able to do it within the class period today."
