When Words Fail, Music Speaks club; Tuesday, 5pm. [ 11/11 ]

There were a lot of really strange things about Friday, but Chad had to admit to one good thing coming from it. It inspired in him an idea for club this week, so, when everyone came into the music room, they'd find the place littered with a bunch of random things: buckets, washboards, brooms, spoons, forks, pots, pans, even a kitchen sink.

"So," Chad explained, "I had this idea about those percussion groups that, you know, use all sorts of stuff to make music. I thought it could be fun to give that a try today. Pick something out, and we'll see what we can do with it."

The selection of random junk is entirely moddable. It's amazing what one could find in the junkyard here, really. Jam and interact, la la la.

Chad had an GIP old birdcage, and was testing out what sounds he could make by running various different things along the bars.

Agnes picked up a thin sheet of metal that was larger than she was, and tried bending it in different ways and tapping it in different places.
