Care for Magical Creatures; Period One. [ 11/10 ]

Today was a very exciting day for the class, indeed, as today was the day that their eggs were going to hatch! The danger shop classroom was stocked to the teeth with anything at all that might need to be available, from things to feed the little creatures with to weapons just in case they do end up quite hostile to flame retardant cloaks and squeaky little chew toys!

"Good morning, class!" Minsc greeted them. "Please go and care for your egg until they hatch and be prepared for whatever may come out! I have no better idea than you, so today should be a very interesting class! Be prepared for anything, as such is the way with magical creatures!"

It might as well have been, considering that, soon after Jeff had the egg held away from him, something burst from the very center of it.

Granted, the thing bursting from it was extremely cute and cuddly and not at all scary; it let out an adorable little yip instead of a blood-freezing shout.

But it burst all the same.

Jeff stared at the Thing.

"...Hi," he tried, "I'm Jeff. It's... nice to meet you."

Yes, he had no idea.

The little kitsune, all of his tails stuck inside the shell at the moment so that he was much more half-a-kitsune than anything else, made a bright little yip, his front paws dancing in the air in an attempt to reach his new mommy's face.

"...I should probably talk to my girlfriend about that," Jeff informed the kitsune thing. With the tails. "You're very fuzzy."

He was very fuzzy! The kitsune let out another little yip, front paws dancing happily. With a few more squirms, he managed to free himself enough that he could make a light little leap for the top of Jeff's head. It did look like such a nice little place to rest and nest a bit!

Jeff stared from the shell in his hands up to... well, the one bit of hair he could sort of see from there. "Not again," he sighed, shoulders slumping.

He did nothing else, though.

That suited the kitsune quite well, actually, who pranced around in a few circles around Jeff's head before settling right in, a few of his tails drooping into Jeff's eyes.

He couldn't help it. It was such perfect nesting hair.
