Today, Deadpool was slightly saddened to see the wee animals were gone. He'd been planning to set them up in a battle royale for a winner takes all kinda thing.

But since one pretty damn definitively last night...

"Today we're making cookies!" He announced, gesturing to the donkey shaped cookie cutters. "sugar cookies."

(Mmmm. Sugar cookies of democracy. Freedom never tasted so sweet.)

"There is blue frosting if you're feeling especially proud of blah blah blah American system. If I didn't have multiple felony convictions and no visa for the U.S. you better believe I woulda gotten that free cup of coffee yesterday! So don't look at me like I made Anderson Cooper cry. Spilling tea makes him cry. Stubbing his toe makes him cry."

A beat.

"I mean, sure, he's got that Jon Stewart charm about him, but that's hardly the point!" Deadpool cleared his throat. "Get to baking!"

Dōjima couldn't care less about American politics, to be honest, but she could get behind making cookies.

She armed herself with enough supplies to make a mountain of cookies, and set to work.

"...They kind of look more like jackals than donkeys," Cal noted as he observed one of the cookie cutters.

He was actually thinking hyena, but didn't refer to that scavenger for very personal reasons.

Hurley chuckled. Cookie baking would be good practice for his super project.

John thought it looked like a small fox through his sunglasses but he wasn't complaining as he worked as quietly as he could.

Ned had fallen asleep before any election results came in so he felt a little weird about making cookies based on the election.

On the other hand...cookies.
