Home Economics [Class 9] - Tuesday

"I'm sorry, everyone," Lulu said, as she swept into the room a few minutes late. "I was unavoidably detained. But, I'm here now, so:

"Today, as I imagine a great many of you are distracted by the political goings-on in this country, we're not doing anything too terribly strenuous; instead, we're watching a movie. Pay close attention to how the vermin help her assemble her dress; while we won't be using that... particular... technique, I thought it might highlight particularly well how not to go about making clothing."

Amber was more than thankful for the movie. She grabbed a blanet and pillow and settled down to watch, maybe even dozing a little.

Harry was far away from the AV equipment and possibly dozing. He was less likely to fry the electronics if he was that relaxed, right?

Francine loved this movie! Though it was weird to watch it again with actual tiny animals running around the floor while it played. Thankfully none of the elephants or donkeys offered to help her with her clothes.

Who is only paying a little bit of attention to the movie, really, and instead is worriedly refreshing the election results on her laptop. She may not be from here, but she's definitely interested in whether or not she's going to want to be leaving any time soon.

... So, even though I knew it was Monday yesterday, I somehow spent the entire day today under the impression that today was Monday, as well. *fails*

I really need to find another job; this unemployment thing is messing with my sense of time.
