Flight Club [Flight Shed, 2pm]

Gavin was leaning against the flight shed, waiting for the members of flight club to mosey on down. Once they'd all assembled, he stopped being lazy to do the introduction.

"Hey guys," he said. "Today, we're going with jets of this planet. This country specifically but this planet also. The sim's set up for three different types of jet. You can try all three or try one. Some are set for combat so you can try shooting things in the simulated sky. Have fun, learn the controls and see how they compare to the X-Wing from last week."

With that, he stepped aside to let people start taking their turns.

Ben flew the F-35 with a tad too much intensity, even for a Skywalker. He was going to need to be talked out of the sim--blowing fake targets up was a little more cathartic than he thought it would be.

Momoko eyed the F-35 with a dreamy sigh, but geek that she was she decided to try the Osprey instead. She was curious about this world's idea of a machine that transformed from a helicopter to a plane.

In the end, she decided it was cool, but the transition was waaaaaaaay too slow for her tastes.
