Hands-On Art, Class #7, Period 1

Having handwavily sent an E-mail to her students telling them to dress in old clothes they wouldn't mind getting messy for class, Lily was half-cheating and wearing a smock. "Hey, you survived the weekend!" she greeted them. "I was very glad to meet some of your parents, and now that they're gone and I don't have to worry about them frowning at me, we can get to some fun stuff."

"We're doing body painting today. Sort of," Lily went on. "You know how all this time we've been using things like brushes or pencils or pastels? Forget it for today. You can paint anything you want, the only rule is, you have to paint using a body part. If you want to paint with your nose, go for it, but I'd highly advise not huffing the paint because that'd be an embarrassing clinic visit. Oh, and also, one more rule, don't remove any clothing to do it unless it's like socks and shoes. I'd really rather Principal Winchester not bust me, and you can use your elbows to paint with a shirt as well as you can without one, which is to say we probably won't get many masterpieces with elbow painting. So get messy, work out any frustrations you might still have, and have fun."

Angela rolled up her sleeves, and started out with some simple hand and arm painting, which turned into foot painting a few minutes later. This? Was awesome.

Lets face it, it probably wouldn't take all that much persuasion for her to take to boobie art. The shirt can just be washed, right?

Ned had short sleeves on but he was still a little wary about this. He wondered if the paint was toxic.

Inara started slowly, removing her shoes and socks and rolling up her pants before starting to paint with her feet and toes.

Oooh, squishy.

Peyton was not really excited about this, but she went with finger and hand painting. Boobie art was definitely not happening from her.

Claire felt self-conscious about this, and began with a few tentative strokes with her fingers. However, it wasn't long before she'd taken off her outer shirt and stood in a tank top, arms covered in paint. And she'd probably try the foot thing in a minute.

Peter decided to try painting using his whole hand in large swipes of color against the canvas.

While the shocking/"OMG I r rebel" aspect of boobie art appealed to Katchoo, she wasn't about to do that. Stupid tattoo.

She ended up putting a canvas on the floor, taking off her shoes and socks, rolling up her jeans, and doing a weird Slip'n'Slide disaster ballet in four colors instead.

Hair totally counted as a body part, right?

Hey, just be glad she decided against ass art.

Sokka started by painting a lovely landscape (yellow sun, blue sky, green trees) with his fingers, and then got an AWESOME idea. He took a fresh sheet of paper, covered his face in paint (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v328/Rellyjean/misc/372.jpg), and stamped his identity (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v328/Rellyjean/misc/376.jpg) on the page (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v328/Rellyjean/misc/379.jpg).

"TA-DA!!!"

Boy, was he proud of that, too.

[Thank you, canon, for occasionally being weirder than I am.]

If they'd been allowed to take off their clothes, Jenny so would have gone for the breast art. As it was, she was painting with her feet.

Cal was having a lot of fun playing around with the concept of painting with his body in ways that didn't get anything clothed involved. The hair on his arms, for example, made for a very interesting texture. His toes were surprisingly agile with lines. And his forehead....well, who could give up the chance to head-canvas?

"Wheeee!"

*Splat!*

Robin had taped paper to the wall, rolled in the paint, and thrown himself against the paper.

He may have been dipping into some early halloween candy.

Alice peeled off her socks and shoes, dipped her feet into some goopy paint, and danced across her canvas, hair flying out.

Once she tired of that, she began splashing paint on (clothed) parts of her body and rolling around on the canvas.

Liir stared at the paint canisters and down at his clothes. Art with... wrecking his...

He was practically twitching at the wastefulness of it. As such, he ended up only dipping his fingers in at first. Then, after a few minutes, since he thought that might get him in trouble, he rolled up his trouserlegs and started to use his feet.
