Turtle had been more than happy to volunteer to get help with setting up for the club fair all morning, with all the tables and posters and sign up clipboards and refreshments and subtle product placement from Turtle & Canary. There was even a great big board by the door boasting the Club Schedule.

It was a little sad to have to leave the mecca of organization she had created to attend Student Council, but she was back quickly after to get the club fair started. And scurry over to her own table.

[[ ~~Each~~ Most clubs will have two threads: a promotion table for interaction with the club head(s) and an OOC sign up sheet to join the club. A few clubs have an exception or two, and those exceptions will be pointed out in the thread. ]]

[[ ETA: Soooo, I made a little "oops" on the schedule, and there actually ARE no 3pm classes. So ignore those Xs. If it helps anyway, 1pm = Fourth Period, 2pm = Fifth Period, sorry about the mix up and any confusion! ]]

"Oh, I see," Alice laughed. "I'm afraid I've never tried to be a businessperson. Must one wear very proper suits and discuss finances?"

"Proper suits aren't necessary," Turtle said, "but they do help. And I'm afraid," no she wasn't; she loved this part, "that discussing finances is required. At least, it is if you want to be any good at it."

"I'm afraid I'm terrible at maths," Alice confessed. "And seriousness and other such things. What is it that a businessperson does, other than discuss finances?"

"There's networking!" Turtle offered, with a spark of enthusiasm, eager to convince Alice that, poor mathematics and lack of seriousness aside, YA was a blast! "You'd be really good at that. All that is is talking to people and leaving a good impression on them so that they think of you when they need whatever it is your business does. And to help impress people with your wide range of familiarity with people when you need something done."

"What should my business do?" Alice grinned. "... Can I join if I don't know that part yet?"

"Sure!" Turtle grinned back, and may have even bounced slightly. "That'll give us something else we can do. Helping to figure out what people who want to be entrepreneurs but don't know what to be entrepreneurs of could do!"

"I could be a project," Alice beamed. "Very well. You have one rudderless entrepreneur in your hands, to be molded into something which might be useful. I claim no responsibility if you discover that isn't possible."

Turtle, laughing a little, applauded the start of a new project. She did rather like her projects. "Oh, please," she said, "you're working with T.R. Wexler! There's no such thing as a hopeless case with me!"

She had good proof to back this up, too. She did, after all, date Jeff.
