The Club Fair; the Gym; Friday Afternoon [ 10/03 ]

Turtle had been more than happy to volunteer to get help with setting up for the club fair all morning, with all the tables and posters and sign up clipboards and refreshments and subtle product placement from Turtle & Canary. There was even a great big board by the door boasting the Club Schedule.

It was a little sad to have to leave the mecca of organization she had created to attend Student Council, but she was back quickly after to get the club fair started. And scurry over to her own table.

[[ wait for the OCD or be crippled by a kick to the shins. Your choice. OCD IS UP! You are free from the threat of kicking for now. I hope I didn't forget anyone! ]]

[[ Each Most clubs will have two threads: a promotion table for interaction with the club head(s) and an OOC sign up sheet to join the club. A few clubs have an exception or two, and those exceptions will be pointed out in the thread. ]]

[[ ETA: Soooo, I made a little "oops" on the schedule, and there actually ARE no 3pm classes. So ignore those Xs. If it helps anyway, 1pm = Fourth Period, 2pm = Fifth Period, sorry about the mix up and any confusion! ]]

"Thanks," Ned said and half smiled. "It's one thing I'm good at and I thought maybe a few others might be good at it too. Or at least want to try and learn."

"So, like... I'm kinda the latter, at least," Hurley said. "You know, hate to be all 'hey, the fat kid joins the food club' but... kinda seems like fun, you know?"

"Yeah, I know," Ned said and grinned wider now. "But hey, where else are you going to be able to make something and then eat it? You really can't do that in the newspaper club. Eating paper's bad for you. And this isn't an advanced club at all. It'll be learning different things."

"Awesome," Hurley said. "Besides, I gotta learn how to make a decent pie so I can bribe Mr. Deadpool."

"He takes bribes?" That was something to remember. "I didn't know teachers were allowed to be bribed."

"He totally said that if I baked him a pie, he'd consider having the final be a giant food fight," Hurley said. "Seriously, how cool would that be?"

"Huh." Ned considered the merit of that. "I'm pretty good with pie so I might bake him one to see what he'd give me. But, pies are, really, not that hard. Find an easy recipe and you can make a good one."

"Yep, just your name," Ned said and nodded to the clipboards. "The club info's on there so you can write it down or remember."
