Turtle had been more than happy to volunteer to get help with setting up for the club fair all morning, with all the tables and posters and sign up clipboards and refreshments and subtle product placement from Turtle & Canary. There was even a great big board by the door boasting the Club Schedule.

It was a little sad to have to leave the mecca of organization she had created to attend Student Council, but she was back quickly after to get the club fair started. And scurry over to her own table.

[[ ~~Each~~ Most clubs will have two threads: a promotion table for interaction with the club head(s) and an OOC sign up sheet to join the club. A few clubs have an exception or two, and those exceptions will be pointed out in the thread. ]]

[[ ETA: Soooo, I made a little "oops" on the schedule, and there actually ARE no 3pm classes. So ignore those Xs. If it helps anyway, 1pm = Fourth Period, 2pm = Fifth Period, sorry about the mix up and any confusion! ]]

"It's not fair," Ino whined to Cal. "Totally unfair."

Because, clearly, whining about it would help, right?

Cal frowned a little at Ino. It wasn't a good sign when he was just standing there, chewing on a pretzel, and already he was getting whined at. He didn't even do anything!

That he was aware of.

"What isn't?"

"Gun club's on a Wednesday," she said, wibbling at him. "Not fair."

Yes, she knew he had nothing to do with it. Ino didn't let small details like that stop her though.

"What wrong with Wednesday?" Cal asked, blinking at Ino, and then he remembered.

"Oh. Right. Work."

And then he relaxed a little, because it wasn't something he'd done after all.

"Work," she said, nodding firmly. "And no way will Cable-san let me leave for an hour to go to club."

"Why wouldn't he?"

It seemed a reasonable question; the clubs he really wanted to be in had him leaving work about two hours earlier than usual, and Cal didn't even bother to think that Lacey would have even the smallest issue with it, but, at the same time, Cal wasn't usually one to care, either.

"'Cause he never wanted me learning to use a gun in the first place," she said moodily, "and 'cause he's pretty strict 'bout the whole being at work thing."

And not sleeping. Ino'd gotten that lecture.

"It wouldn't hurt to ask, though, right? Or you could always talk to someone about switching days if it's that important."

Cal really didn't see what the big deal was.

She sighed. "Don't have the time, really, for another day. I might ask though."

"Ask," Cal nodded. "And, if it doesn't work, take it as a sign that if you don't have enough time for another day, then you don't have enough time for the club as well."

Ino was just going to sulk about that bit of logic there. "I'd have been fine if it was in the evening," she said.

Cal eyed Ino. "You really do like to just complain about things, don't you?" he commented. "I mean, you could also talk to the leader, or people in the school, about getting it moved, if it meant that much. Personally, I wouldn't care nearly enough..."

She sulked at him. "We're not all emotionally cut off from things, geez. I can't help it."

Cal gave a sulk back. "I'm not emotionally cut off from thing. Not all things, anyway. I'm just a very logical person." He put a hand to his chest, pulling himself up importantly. "I can't help that either."

"Mm," she said noncommittally. "Don't suppose it matters really."

Cal smirked and clapped a hand on Ino's shoulder. "Now that's the spirit."
