Turtle had been more than happy to volunteer to get help with setting up for the club fair all morning, with all the tables and posters and sign up clipboards and refreshments and subtle product placement from Turtle & Canary. There was even a great big board by the door boasting the Club Schedule.

It was a little sad to have to leave the mecca of organization she had created to attend Student Council, but she was back quickly after to get the club fair started. And scurry over to her own table.

[[ ~~Each~~ Most clubs will have two threads: a promotion table for interaction with the club head(s) and an OOC sign up sheet to join the club. A few clubs have an exception or two, and those exceptions will be pointed out in the thread. ]]

[[ ETA: Soooo, I made a little "oops" on the schedule, and there actually ARE no 3pm classes. So ignore those Xs. If it helps anyway, 1pm = Fourth Period, 2pm = Fifth Period, sorry about the mix up and any confusion! ]]

"Still sleeping more than usual," she said, glancing at him, "but on the mend, for sure."

A beat.

"Doesn't it suck?" About the club, since she knew he worked Wednesdays too.

"On the mend is all you can ask for," he told her. "I finally got my sling off."

Which ... she had probably noticed, actually.

"The club?" he asked, making a face. "I know. Even if Tink let me lock up for the hour" -- and the pixie could be temperamental enough that he was hesitant to ask -- "there's still getting from town to school and back." Miles and miles, that was. Clearly.

She had, actually, and was resisting the urge to make him take off his shirt so she could inspect the shoulder. "You're being careful 'bout how much you're using it, right?"

Ino nodded at that though. Clearly miles! "I mean, I could ask Cable-san? But I'm seriously doubting that he'd let me. I might ask him still, but... why does it have to be on a Wednesday?"

Always with the taking his shirt off, this one. Romeo would be scandalized. "The doctor told me to take care until the strength is back," he nodded. "Still, half the use of an arm is better than a sling."

"I know," he agreed. "Four days when I'm on campus, and they choose the one when I'm not. I think I'll just plan to practice on my own for the term."

"If you hurt it more, I'll beat you," she threatened, albeit with a smile.

"And, seriously, okay--I know I'm busy, but come on, there's three days a week that I could do it, but no..." Ino was going to sulk about that for a bit. "We could practice together some of the time?"

"And that would help it heal," he assured her, also grinning. "I'm usually up for practice, I'm not so terribly busy."

"It totally would," she said blithely. "And I'll remember to bug you 'bout the whole practicing thing, since I'm rather certain I'm busier than you."

She had three jobs now, student council, and class. Ino figured this was a safe bet.

"As all I have is three classes and a job, that's a safe bet," he agreed. "Did you join something else instead? I signed up for the fraternity."

"Three jobs, StuCo, and three classes, so yeah. Busy, but good with it. And nothing yet," she said, slumping a bit more on the bleacher, "nothing else really gets my attention, you know? The fraternity, yeah? They should have a girls version next time, geez."

"How did you end up with three jobs? Romeo asked, interested. "I'm not so sure about the fraternity myself, but I feel I should at least do something. You should start a sorority."

He managed not to giggle at that.

Don't give her ideas! "Maybe I will," she said, brightening. "Though it's too late to do it for this time 'round."

"The jobs? Well, I started with Wellspring 'cause hey, I know a lot 'bout meditation and such, and then Cable-san ordered me to work at the clinic so I had to," because Cable-san didn't like the idea of her practicing on herself, "and then there's a flower shop in town and no way could I resist that."

"I started at Pixie Dust because Tink fed me absinthe," Romeo overshared. "I think that's enough for me."

"A flower shop, really?" He hadn't noticed that yet.

That got a grin. "That's a perfectly good reason to work somewhere! And yes, Covent Garden Flowers. It's brand new."
