Turtle had been more than happy to volunteer to get help with setting up for the club fair all morning, with all the tables and posters and sign up clipboards and refreshments and subtle product placement from Turtle & Canary. There was even a great big board by the door boasting the Club Schedule.

It was a little sad to have to leave the mecca of organization she had created to attend Student Council, but she was back quickly after to get the club fair started. And scurry over to her own table.

[[ ~~Each~~ Most clubs will have two threads: a promotion table for interaction with the club head(s) and an OOC sign up sheet to join the club. A few clubs have an exception or two, and those exceptions will be pointed out in the thread. ]]

[[ ETA: Soooo, I made a little "oops" on the schedule, and there actually ARE no 3pm classes. So ignore those Xs. If it helps anyway, 1pm = Fourth Period, 2pm = Fifth Period, sorry about the mix up and any confusion! ]]

Amber parked her butt on a bleacher with a plate of brownies on her lap. She was thinking about what to sign up for.

"Considering what to sign up for?" he asked as he made his way over. He was fresh from work and so looked just a touch sleepy.

"Liir! Hi!" Amber grinned wide at his sleepy looking self. "And yah, I am."

"Ahh. Same here, honestly," he admitted as he sat down next to her.

She held her plate of brownies up a little. "Brownie? And what have you been up to lately? I've missed seeing you."

"I've been around," he admitted as he waved off the brownie. He wasn't often hungry, really; mostly food enticed him, or ideas prodded him, or curiousity would not leave him be and that prompted him to cook.

"Thank you but no."

Then he continued.

"And what about you? What have you been up to?"

Amber set the plate down at her side, full herself. "Not much. Kind of got in trouble in Sex Ed. I have stupid detention tomorrow."

He raised an eyebrow.

"You? Detention?"

He couldn't imagine it.

"Who's giving the Sex Ed class? Miss Lulu again?"

"I know, right? Wasn't even my fault. Not... completely."

She wasn't really too upset, not like she was letting on.

"No, Mr. Cullen. And he's a real stickler. We can't even hardly talk in there," she huffed.

"Well, detention should be interesting at least. Hopefully, you will not have to wear leather pants or steal anything, though."

"I wouldn't mind wearing leather pants," Amber replied with a little grin. "I bet I would look hot in them." A beat. "Or probably not. Probably more boyish than anything."

After a little while, Cal parked his butt beside her, and nudged Amber with his elbow. "Hey, you. Troublemaker."

"Pfft, you totally made me," she said with a sly grin.

"Made you?" Cal asked, grinning back but with an incredulous lift of his eyebrows. "And how, pray tell, did I make you?"

Amber scooted her butt closer to him. "You wouldn't give me my mono back. You left me with no choice, Cal. I just couldn't let you get away with it." And no, she didn't feel bad at all that he had detention too.

"You gave me mono!" Cal said, being a teasing jerk about it by maybe raising his voice just a little louder for other people to hear; he spared a devilish grin at Amber. "I should have been able to keep it."

"Cal!" Amber exclaimed rather loudly, nudging him with her elbow. But her eyes were wickedly amused. She was hardly one to ever care what other people thought of her. To a degree. That manly looking chick still bothered her when she allowed herself to think about it. "You'll just have to come over and visit it then."

Maybe it was just an oh-so-clever ruse on his part to convince other people not to kiss his girlfriend. Not that he imagined anyone would or, rather, that Amber would be kissing anyone else, so there was no ulterior motive other than making her say his name like that.

"Visit it? Can I take it out to dinner with me, too?"

No one would think to kiss Amber, not now.

"Only if I get to tag along," she replied with a twist of her lips.

[I'm headed out to dinner and a movie!]

"Ew," Cal wrinkled his nose. "Chaperoned."
