Aviation & Aeronautics, Thursday October 2, Period 2
Murdock had yet another dog with him in class today, deciding that making two trips this morning would be a bit more than his twisted knee was up for. Houston lay on the floor next to the desk, tail thumping and watching the students with interest as the class filed in.
"Don't mind him," Murdock smirked. "He's just a guest for the day. Houston's friendly though, if any of y'all want to meet him. Ain't ya boy?" Houston just wagged his tail further.
He got up and limped toward the chalkboard. "So let's get started. There's quite a bit of notes, since we'll be covering World War I."

Re: Class antics.
Re: Ze Lecture, ze end.
Murdock was far too engrossed into his lecture and note scribbling (it was a wonder his students could dechiper any of it, really) to notice what Houston may or may not have been doing.

Re: Class antics.
Houston? Not always the stealthiest of dogs.
Re: Class antics.
notesdrawings became more elaborate as the flying dog-thing was taking on more and more biplanes...and now there were sound effects written on the notes that sounded an awful lot like a dog tail thwapping a desk. Bap bap bap bap bap....Jack's other hand was still skritching Houston, paying attention to the ears.
Re: Class antics.
There were scritches. That was the most important thing here.
Re: Class antics.
Re: Class antics.
He's talking aircraft here. Little could distract him right now. Okay, so not entirely true, but a quiet classroom sure wasn't going to do it.
Besides, he'd probably find Jack's art highly amusing and give pointers of how the doghouse should be approaching those tanks.
Re: Class antics.
He was diligently paying attention to Murdock, from all appearances. And not drawing squadrons of tanks going "kerblam!" or humming anything from that classical Valkyries song. Nuh uh.
Re: Class antics.
Jack better watch that humming, though. If it gets too loud, the prof will probably end up humming it too.
It's a thing with him.
Re: Class antics.
"Dah da da da daaah daaaah, da da da da daaaa daaaa..."
Re: Class antics.
Meanwhile...
Murdock pauses and blinks, wondering why he's suddenly got classical music running through his head. He shrugs and focuses back on his lesson.
But that song is stuck in his head now.
Re: Class antics.
Oop. Jack quiets down when Murdock pauses and looks at the paper, like he's a real studious student.
Re: Class antics.
Yes, the tail is still going. Amazing it hasn't fallen off yet.
And Murdock is also still going. Wonder his arm hasn't fallen off.
