"As I told you last week, today you were to each bring in one ingredient of your choice. I'd like you all to tell me what that is, and then we'll see what we can make today, all right?"

"I couldn't decide between creamy and chunky, so, um, I brought both," she said, holding up a jar in each hand.

Besides, she was so used to varieties of meats and cheeses from her family's sub shop that fruit would be a nice change.
