"Congratulations to our Student Council Winners," Nathan said. He noticed that some of his students looked different, and he decided he was going to ignore it. He felt saner that way. "And sympathy to those who did not win. Remember not everyone wins every election. Part of being a good politician is knowing when you should try, try again. Either way anyone from this class who ran gets extra credit whether you won or not."

Nathan started to pass around the class handouts. "Today we're going to talk about skills. Being a good leader means understanding what you can do, and what you can't. Some of these are basic skills: are you good with a weapon? Are you good at math? Can you play the saxophone? Others are what we call 'soft skills.' Are you good with people? Can you motivate a team? Can you communicate effectively?

"Since I assume you already know your basic skills, today I'd like you to discover your soft skills. Take the following test. There's no right or wrong answers, just what you feel is right for you. At the end you'll see what your strengths are. If you're comfortable with it, share with the class and let us know how you think these strengths apply to a position of leadership."

Meg couldn't help glancing around at all the changed students and wondering who was who.

Teddy was trying to keep anyone from noticing him right now.

Even if his hair was really pretty.

Hinata was... just going to slump down in her seat and quietly wish that a hole would open up in the ground so she could disappear.

Could she stop being a guy yet?

Summer looked around at some of her changed classmates and shook her head. This town would never not be weird.

Joan was starting to feel like today was the worst day ever.

First she woke up as a boy and now she actually won the StuCo election. She wondered if God had somehow tampered with the votes.

But she slumped down in her seat, hoping that no one would talk to her.

Andros was trying to keep himself from being noticed ... he hoped that Zhane and the others were never going to find out about this.

So he'd made the Student Council.

That was something that took up far more space on Ender's mind than his body ever could. A chance to be useful; but he'd have to take a good, long look at the school's actual standing issues.

He'd have to go to the library tomorrow.

Turtle set to taking her usual notes with an industriousness that suggested that no one would notice that that boy sitting there was her, or even wonder who that boy sitting there was.

Momoko's cheeks were still sore from where she'd pinched them trying to wake up from this weird dream. She hadn't wanted to go class today, but on the other hand the idea of explaining why she was absent was not appealing, so here she was, mind all boggled and notebook full of questions, like 'HOW in the world am I going to explain this to mom and dad?' and 'If I need to transform into Blossom, would the dress still fit?' and...

She ran her hand through her new short hair, confused. "Do I have to want to date girls now?"

Agnes watched her classmates more than she paid attention to the lecture. She had a pretty good idea who was who, but the most amusing part was how they all seemed to want to hide from everyone else.

Once Jaina noticed that the ratio of people she recognized to those she didn't recognize was about even, she felt better and could concentrate on the lecture. And feel a little less weird for today's wakeup.

He's pretending everything is normal. As a Petrelli, he's had a lot of practice at this.

She may or may not be normal, but either way she'll need to ping in.

Fortunately Meg still had all the appropriate chromosomes. She was there for all your TA needs.
