The class had ~~handwavily~~ been told to meet at the park, where Bond stood, looking far too pleased with himself.

"Good morning, class," he said, after they had all arrived, and been dived into teams. "I'm sorry to say that this is our last class together, and in light of that fact, I've organised something special for today's class.

"Now, I hope you're all familar with one of these," he continued, flipping a frisbee over in his hands. "For those of you who aren't, the principal is fairly basic, you just throw it with a flick of your wrist, like so." He demonstrated without letting go of the disc.

"Now, today you'll be playing a variation of the sport known as Ultimate Frisbee, with a few important changes. Namely, the goals are at either end of the park, you are allowed to run with the disc, tackling is permitted as a method of getting the disc, and you'll be using these." Bond pointed to a nearby bucket filled with blue water balloons. "There are a number of buckets set up throughout the park with balloons filled with water and food-dye in each team's colours, if you are hit by one, you must touch base at one of the marked safe areas for your team before you can return to play, if you're carrying the disc at the time, you must drop it before heading back.

"Apart from that, most anything other than attempts at actually causing each other damage goes."

Bond tossed the disc away from the students. "Play starts now."

As the helpful example shows, the point of the game is to throw water balloons at and tackle each other rather than actually scoring, threads of people just mucking about can break off the main thread, just try to keep track of who's actually got the disc.

That's talk, not throw balloons at, no matter how tempting a target he is.

This class was totally not ripped of from any modes of play in any computer games. Really.

Johnny Storm

Johnny's never actually played this but it sounded pretty awesome.

Johnny ran for the disc, grabbed it quickly, and took off towards the blue goal, trying to keep an eye out for sailing balloons.

Cassandra Cain.

Cassandra was grinning. Running, hitting people, and throwing things? That was precisely the sort of stuff she was good at.

Cassandra was hot on his heels. She was grinning as she stooped to snag a pair of balloons out of a bucket as she sprinted by. All that training back home gave her an advantage here since it meant she could lob a balloon directly at Johnny even at a full sprint.

Toby looked good in red and he was pretty good at frisbee. This would rock.

And he felt it splatter, covering him in red dye. Grumbling, he dropped the disc, looked to see who'd gotten him out, and headed towards a safe area.

As she ran by to scoop up the frisbee Cassandra shot Johnny a quick (and smug) grin.

Reno

Yeah, Reno had done the blue outfit thing before. And he was pretty sure that throwing a frisbee was pretty much the same as throwing one of Cissnei's over-sized shuriken.

And running? Well. Reno was called the fastest Turk for a reason. He figured it was safe to be slightly more smug than usual, today.

Sam Witwicky

Sam figured he could do this. It was just a game. Not a crazy-ass obstacle course or anything. Whee!

Harry thought this sounded pretty fun. And he was a little surprised. He'd been expecting something scary.

Andros

Andros had never played frisbee or ultimate frisbee before but he didn't think that it would be that difficult as he put on his red sash.
