Basic Auto Mechanics, Session 7, Tuesday period 1

John was staring at a newspaper as the students filed in. "Good morning," he said, though his attention seemed elsewhere still.

He shook himself and focused on them. "Today, being our last class, your assignment is to do a tune up on your respective cars. That could involve any or all of the things you've learned." He gave a faint smile. "Let's see how well you've learned your lessons, shall we?"

Inara did fine when it came to jump-starting the battery, but the spark plugs were a mess and she'd the idea of using a jack to change the tire (which also involved lifting a tire) didn't go nearly as well as the spark plugs.

Still, she worked hard for the entire period and the car was still able to run when she was done with it.
