The Joys of Being a Newspaper Editor [locked to the newspaper folks]

In the Journalism classroom, it's a little quieter than usual, simply from the lack of students. The coffee machine is perkolating away, ready for the thorough use it's going to get, and Chloe is sitting surrounded by papers and video tapes, sorting excitedly through all of the election notes she's made over the past few days.

"You're fricking insane, you know that, right?" Jake says finally, having finished her god-knew-which-number coffee of the day.

[ooc: Rory'd be here, but she's already in about three places at once, and even L-space time doesn't allow for the kind of weirdness of throwing her into the paper right now. In any case, since she's a candidate, blame her absence on the fact that's preparing for the open-mic night.]

Veronica rushes into the newspaper meeting and is happy to see her roommate.

"Chloe! How have you been?"

Beka leans in the doorway of the quiet room, wondering why the hell she agreed to this in the first place. Then she remembers: whether she wins the election or no, she's still committed to being here for her fellow students.

She strides in, picks up a cup of coffee, sips, then says, "Valentine, reporting for duty. Has Phoebe arrived yet?"

Jack leans in the door of the semi-lit Journalism classroom.

"Hey, is that Jake girl in here?"
