Brooke was the first one in the class today, sort of wondering where Haley was when she needed her. But once everyone had settled in, she said, "Hi, guys. Our teacher seems to be doggified, so you get to listen to me go on for a little while. We're supposed to talk about clothes, which is my absolute favorite subject. So personally, I think you just need to be true to yourself and your personality when you dress. Even if it means you dress in all black all the time and look at people all glowery, just know that you might get funny looks back.

"Clothes are an expression, so you just have to know that the way you dress tells other people about you. If you wear nothing but low-cut shirts and short skirts to a job interview.... well, okay, you might get the job, but it's not for the right reasons," Brooke said. "If you dress slutty, people might think you are. True, this might be what you want, but there is a time and a place. It's like wearing your school uniform to a party, or going on a first date in sweats. You just don't do it, because it's not appropriate for the setting. So what we're doing today is, I have a trunk here filled with ~~fully moddable~~ clothes. You'll put together what you think is a good first date outfit, then pair up and see what the other person thinks it says about you, and whether you stand a chance of getting any with it."

And as an afterthought, she said, "Oh! Almost forgot, but it's important: please wear underwear. Okay, I know, I know, there are times it's not needed or you don't want to or whatever, but if you have any chance of looking like Britney Spears throughout 2007, either go for the pretty stuff instead for once, or wear some damn pants."

Romeo didn't entirely mean to stop by after class. He went for a walk on his break at work, and he went in circles for a bit until he ended up in the classroom, and the bunny who was Dojima seemed to rather vociferously believe they belonged there. (She didn't bite. Exactly. But she made it clear she would.)

So there he was, bouncing a bunny from arm to arm and waiting for Brooke to finish up.

"Hey there," Brooke greeted him, and added proudly, "I didn't blow up the class!"

Romeo made a show of looking around. "It seems to all be on one piece and everything," he teased. "Should I congratulate you?"

The rabbit twitched her ears to remind him she was there. "Anyhow, this is Dojima. She's ... indisposed, but I think she wanted me to stop in this class."

The rabbit looked smug. Yes, that had been what she wanted, thank you, and if Brooke wanted to pet her she wouldn't even mind.

"You totally should," she said, peering at the bunny, like she was looking for the resemblance or something. "Was there some sort of memo I missed about turning into an animal this week? Did I miss out on a trend?" Because thank god.

"Then congratulations," he said. "If there was, I missed the memo too. But it seems like everywhere I go this week someone is carrying about some strange pet that's normally a person."

The bunny peered back at Brooke. There wasn't any particular resemblance to the human Dojima, which was probably for the best both for the girl and for the rabbit.

"I was a shrew back in May, so maybe I was just ahead of the curve."

"Yeah, the teacher for this class is a puppy at the moment," she said, reaching over to pet the bunny lightly without thinking. "...A shrew? Like, 'bitter old'?"

Romeo half-scowled. "Like, a little rodent with a long nose." He patted the bunny. "She put me in a hamster ball and watched me run into walls."

"The other kind of shrew would suck in an entirely different way."

Brooke tried not to laugh. "Okay, I'm sorry, but that would have been really funny to watch."

"It'll be your turn sometime, Davis," he informed her, but he was smiling. It probably had been pretty funny.

"Oh, no, it won't," she said, sobering quickly. "I'm very happy as a human girl, thanks."

"Then maybe you'll be lucky," Romeo said. He didn't want to doom Brooke further by talking about this too much, after all.

"I should try to get back to work before it's time to close," he added. "Wish me luck on the journey?"

"Good luck," Brooke said seriously. "Though if you end up somewhere cooler than where you need to go, just stay there. Much safer."

"Probably a good idea," he agreed with a smirk. "And with any luck, Dojima and Ms. Scherbatsky will both be in class as themselves next week."

Brooke crossed her fingers. "Bye, guys." Yes, she said it to the bunny, too.
