"Now the last couple of classes have been fun," he grinned. As usual, Murdock spoke while strolling around the Danger Shop, but today there was a slight limp present. "But we need to get down to some real business." He stopped and shot the class a look. "Some of the guys you might find yourself going up against are pros. Real pros. Not just slimeballs who think they can handle a gun and throw a fast right hook."

"So what we'll do today isn't so much with the running around and shooting, but the planning and stealth we'll need to ultimately take these guys out." He grinned impishly, "And then we can run around and shoot at 'em."

Was at a voice actor panel at an anime convention, and one of the actors was talking about how he was voicing a character who had a broken leg or sprained ankle or knee or something, and during a break he went to the grocery shop next door to get something to eat....and twisted his ankle. Right there, at the 5 feet of sidewalk between the studio and the bodega.

The engineer thought he was the worst/craziest method actor evaaar.




...sitting crosslegged? Had the cat/dog sleeping on your foot? That might do it.

Hah!

And nope and nope. I was sitting here with my foot in the spot of the desk that really isn't a footrest. Maybe I moved it the wrong way or had it angled the wrong way.

And of course now that I'm home, it frickin' aches. Ooh ice cubes and a kitchen towel. *g*

More furniture designers need to place spots for footrests. It's just not comfortable unless you have one leg hanging over the armrest, up on the desk next to the monitor, bopping along with whatever's on youtube/mp3s. Right? :D

Something like that. The slab of fake wood that angles way down at the bottom isn't very good.

Of course, it would also help if they didn't design furniture in mind of honkin' tall people like my hubby. His feet reach it just fine. Me? Not so much.

*grumbles*

You should see the antics whenever we switch vehicles. LOL!

I've broken a few furniture pieces because they were not designed with built in footrests, but that shelf....
