Please show everyone your knitting projects. As soon as you do, I have rainbow cupcakes for you.

We will be moving on to embroidery today.
Quick lecture on important tips before you start

Homework for Tuesday: Using your new skills, make a piece that highlights one of your favorite quotes or sayings! You can work on your piece in class, but try to keep your quote a surprise for next week. I have almost every color of floss for you to use as you see fit.

Maia holds up her ball of yarn and her needles. "I uh, I couldn't figure the knotting thing out... so I just kinda did this." Holds up a long piece of knotted yarn.

Maia laughs "oh yeah, thats it. Made it for our darling mascots." Maia hands over her piece of purple thread. maybe it'll strangle the suckers

Bree takes a better look at the project, and with a barely noticeable disgusted cringe gives it back. "Oh no, you should keep it. In a box maybe, in the bottom of your closet. As... a keepsake!" She exclaims with a false perky cheer.

Maia takes back the piece of thread. "Uh yeah sure. I'll give it to my mom for her birthday." Maia rolls the piece of knotted yarn up and puts it in her bag. "Thanks Mrs Van de Kamp."

"You're welcome dear," Bree smiles, relieved, and oblivious to the fact Maia can see right through her and that Maia's mom is, in fact, wicked dead. She means well? "I think you'll like embroidery better, it is fairly easy once you set yourself up a pattern."

"Oh sure, dear, what were you thinking? Up-do, or something down and loose? With your features a high ponytail with some ornamentation would be lovely. Highlight your cheekbones."

"Two words, well, really three. Pain, and hair spray. Pull it tight and brush it up from underneath, and then spray it down until it doesn't dare move. Use an aerosol, sometimes you just have to say fuck the environment."

Paige nods, "I'll go get extra strength hair spray tomorrow then, thank you."

Wednesday has a white, long sleeved garment that strongly resembles a sweater until she unfolds it to reveal that it's actually meant to be a straightjacket. It is technically very well done but, other than the somewhat unusual shape, extremely uninspired.

Maia looks at Wednesday's straight jacket. "I like your straight jacket. Its unique."

"Thank you." Wednesday folded it up again neatly. "It isn't very practical, however, although I suppose it's warm enough."

Maia looks at it and then back at Wednesday. "Yes, I've heard the winters can be brutal here. It's a bit small. Little brother?"

"That actually looks a lot like we talked about. I like how you incorporated the straps, and the knitting is very tight. Well done. I may ask to borrow that some day," she says with a wink.

Wednesday smiled at her. "I have found knitting to be very soothing, Professor. Perhaps I shall make another one."

"You can never have too many... sweaters. I should do a class on proper storage, come to think of it."

Sakura wanders into class a bit late, apologizing as she does so. She sets a scarf on her desk made in four colours, red, black, blue and white. She grins at it a little, fairly pleased with her handywork. She is, however, stumped on what to use for her next statement, so takes to pondering silently, tapping her chin with a finger.

"What a lovely scarf, Sakura! That'll come in handy soon, won't it?" Bree gives her a soft smile and lingers if Sakura has any questions.

Sakura smiled, pinking faintly. "Thank you, Mrs. Van De Kamp, I'm sure it'll be very useful." She paused a moment, running a fingertip over the edge of the scarf. "...though I'm not sure I know what to do for the homework assignment." She furrows her eyebrows together, thinking.
